  Been coming here since I was literally a kid and the pizza is still just as awesome.  Great for a quick slice or a whole pie.  Also subs are just as good.  Inexpensive for the area I highly recommend you come in and give this place a try!!!

  The pizza is super cheap ($3/slice) and pretty large too. It tastes good but obviously don't expect much from here. The problem I had is that the lady who took my order touched my pizza with her bare hands without washing them after touching money and other dirty things so I didn't eat the crust because of that. The inside of the store is also kinda dirty.

  Here's the thing- I have stopped by Nino's for a quick, cheap slice (less than $3), and probably will again in the future, but it is by no means a great place. I would describe the pizza as "perfect for kids" in that it is very plain and simple. I don't find the service to be especially friendly and also don't find the restaurant itself to be particularly clean or a place I'd want to sit and eat. So, my verdict is that Nino's is fine for a slice on the go, but not worth ordering a hole pie or stopping in for a meal.

  I'm not usually one to leave reviews, either positive or negative, but I had two very bad experiences in a row here. First time, I ordered online and came in to pickup and was told five minutes when I went to the counter. Sat down and waited, didn't even realize a half hour had passed, go back up to the counter to ask if my order was ready, and, lo and behold, it was on top of the oven the entire time. When I asked the lady at the counter why she told me five minutes, she said "It's fine, it's ready now."
  
  Second time, just today, I ordered wings and panini online. Picked it up and brought it back to work. The Panini was terrible, the ham was like ham off the bone, which is fine, but the pieces on my sandwich were all hard white fat that I couldn't even chew. The wings were basically raw, looked gray and inedible. I'm not even just saying they were bad, I'm saying it's irresponsible and flat out dangerous to sell somebody raw chicken wings. I can't even give them to one of the homeless people around the Charles St/ MGH T stop for fear of poisoning them. So they went straight in the trash.
  
  I regret giving them a second chance. I basically just threw twenty dollars away. Hopefully I don't get salmonella from the half of a bite I took of a wing.

  So this should be a good spot, but I think the magic from Nino has faded. New team doesn't really embrace the Italian food ethos and instead relies on canned sauce and frozen items from Costco etc. It's like they kinda don't care anymore and that's tough because by all accounts this should be a killer slice joint selling beers and cans of crush. It's good enough for the construction guys but barely good enough for your kids.
  
  Pizza is very doughy and sauce is mediocre. Do think there is still an opportunity to bring it back....fingers crossed.
